>From exactly that documentation I got the impression that
--with-grid-type=... and "make GRIDTYPE=... myprogram" were meant to be
alternate ways of specifying the grid manager with the latter overriding the
former.  From the code and the warning messages while compiling I got the
impression that YaspGrid was the default if nothing was specified either way.

So is it correct that "make GRIDDIM=... GRIDTYPE=..." will only work if I have
specified --with-grid-dim=... --with-grid-type=... while configuring (possibly
with different values)?  But using the GridType typedef is not an error, even
if --with-grid-dim=... --with-grid-type=... were not specified?  That seems
somehow inconsistent to me.
