I guess my proposal would be to always add "-DGRIDDIM=$(GRIDDIM)
-D$(GRIDTYPE)" to ALL_PKG_CPPFLAGS and GRIDDIM_CPPFLAGS and to set the make
variables GRIDDIM=3 and GRIDTYPE=YASPGRID (the current defaults).
