I also stumbled over that constructor and did not quite understand it. GridFactoryInterace is a pure virtual class which actually should not
have any constructor at all. I suggest to remove it. I do not think it is reasonable to assume that all grids can fulfill this kind of semantics.
If we assume a common constructor then it should be the default constructor.
One does not have a common constructor for grids either, so I do  not see
how the constructor taking a constructed grid object will help writting
generic code.
