Something similar is working, but isn't nice. You have to specify Grid and IndexSet:

Dune::MultipleCodimMultipleGeomTypeMapper<GridView::Grid,GridView::IndexSet,Layout> mapper(gridview);

Nevertheless the code should be be changed to use a gridview
