Concerning Point 1:
True, but it is in the interest of general dune-grid maintainability not to have
too many implementations of the same functionality around. If somebody implemented
the perfect structured parallel grid, would you still want to keep YaspGrid?

Concerning Point 2:
I was not aware of this feature. Of course this is a good reason to keep DGF.

Concerning Point 3:
Same. Boundary ids are part of the interface and must be accessible somehow.

Simply moving DGF out of dune-grid into a new module seems like a great solution to me.
