Without the autogen.sh you cannot generate the correct Makefiles from the Makefile.am
so that could not work. Copying the alugrid.pc file to the aluinst root directory
should work as you said. I patch the m4 file and also our alugrid repository.
Robert will probably just release a new version of alugrid next week
