Hi Andreas!
I have added these 2 lines in the ALUGrid-1.22/Makefile.am. configure, make clean, make, make install did Not bring about any changes. Copying alugrid.pc from the ALUGrid-1.22 directory to aluinst/lib/pkgconfig did neither. Copying it into the aluinst did the trick. This seems to be connected to dune-grid/m4/alugrid.m4 line 66 (?).
