Despite being reported for the 2.0 release, I guess the trunk version is meant.

The type does actually exist - it is defined in the DefaultGeometryTraits, which is a base class of the GeometryTraits class. But the GeometryTraits are defined out of class, which might trigger a bug.

Could you tell me where this file (referencemappings.hh) is used anyway? Somehow it seems to be superseded by the generic reference element.
