[Dune] Question about parallelization

Dear Dune,

Sorry, I have forgotten to ask another one.
If I communicate to a bunch of small arrays to a large array using gather

Do I initialize the large array with required size myself, or
Dune does it for me (meaning that I would have to delete the array later)
