I think the test (in this case) aren't relevant. We have to check dune-istl, where the fieldvector originates from. I might be, that some algorithms depend on the enum. This should be fairly ease to fix, the only problem is, that not all functionality in istl is checked.

Apart from these concerns, I also support the removal.
