I just checked the core modules:

a) The enum is not used in dune-common and dune-istl.

b) In dune-grid amiramesh(reader|writer).cc and one static assertion in cornermapping.hh use it. Both could be replaced by dimension.

c) In dune-localfunctions several classes in utility/ make heavy use of it. I don't know if there are other possible template arguments which lack the dimension enum. Perhaps someone in Freiburg can comment on this.
