Nope, I haven't checked them.  And we can't use them either, since we want to keep the number of external dependencies as low as possible.  That's why we have a reimplementation of shared_ptr, for instace, and only use the C++11 or Boost shared_ptr if they happen to be available.

I will look at them though, maybe there are some good ideas which are worth reimplementing, so thanks for the list.  I suspect however, that all these systems are far too complex.  The logtag stuff is not a full fledged logging system, it just provides a unified prefix for messages from the program.  This makes it possible to keep it quiet simple.
