[Dune] What are the plans for FS#604 / dune-geometry?

Dear Dune,
congratulations for the Dune 2.1 release and many thanks especially to 
the release managers.
With 2.1 out of the door and the next version far away I'm wondering 
what will happen to the intended dune-geometry module [0]. The idea is 
1.5 years old and now would be the right time to make a change like this.
