I agree... the core modules should have a consistent numbering. We
provide them as a package. If I remember correctly, we even dicussed
this question some year ago on a dev.meeting and decided exactly this
policy. I remember that we once had a bug-fix release where only
dune-grid was changed, but we released new tarballs for all core modules.
