[Dune] Installation of Alberta 3.0 and its usage in DUNE

Hi everyone,

following Martin's suggestion about installing Alberta 3.0 to skip the problems with the orientation of elements read from a GMSH file, I have a question about Alberta 3.0 itself.

Are there any special arrangements to do to make it work in DUNE?
I mean, I tried to configure, compile and install it, and it worked fine ... but when I put --with-alberta=/usr/local/alberta-3.0.7 in my opts file, it's not recognised.
DUNE tells me that no version of Alberta has been detected, even if I installed in the right folder in my filesystem!

Are there issues with the name of the version, any compatibility problem with DUNE 2.1 (I'll migrate soon to 2.2), special tweaks I should be aware of?
Because alberta.h and the other important headers are placed in the right position, but DUNE mysteriously doesn't see them ...

Cheers,

Andrea

Hi Felix,

thanks for the link.

I'm trying to install the version 3.0.7.
./configure, make and make install work fine, but in building DUNE the new folder for Alberta is not recognised, even if it's exactly where I wrote in the .opts file!
It seems I still have to sort things out ...

Andrea
