I tried to build a test case. You basically copy'n'paste all the dune headers the program includes into a single file. The problem is that that file will still have around 4000 lines (that's what sloccount says). I'm afraid that's to much too ask from the gcc guys. Reducing the test case further means lots of work or some automation. I still think it is a good idea to ask the compiler guys, but I currently have no good idea how to go about it.
