Hello Ali,

if you are using ALUGrid then you'll have the basic option to choose the
partitioning algorithm via a configuration file that you place in the
same folder as the executable. There is an example shipped with the
ALUGrid code. You'll find that in ALUGrid-1.52/misc/alugrid.cfg

By default METIS_PartGraphKway used. I suggest to switch to
METIS_PartGraphRecursive.
