[Dune] GmshReaderQuadraticBoundarySegment - what does it do?

Dear Dune developers,

In the gmshreader class there is a class
GmshReaderQuadraticBoundarySegment, which is calculating some linear
combination of Lagrange basis functions. After reading the code it is
still not 100% clear to me what it does.

I would be grateful if somebody could explain to me what it does, or
direct to the corresponding manual section.
