[Dune] /usr/local/lib/dunecontrol: file not found, Execution of, dunecontrol terminated due to errors!

Just for the record:
the leading ./ was of course not the matter as the complete (relative)
path to dunecontrol was given. The culprit was an old relic meddling
inexpertly with the pkg_config_path. As the default prefix-setting for
installed modules was '/usr/local/lib' this was the content of
dune-common.pc.in . The pkg_config_path contained the dune-common
directory. Somewhere along the way of dunecontrol building the
module-lists this was read and subsequently dunecontrol was searched
for in that location - bang.
