Dear DUNE users and developers,

ESA accepted DUNE as a mentoring organization for their Summer of Code
in Space (SOCIS) program [1]. It is similar to Google's Summer Code.
We have a slot for one student. Interested student have to apply until
30 April 2015. They should have a look at our ideas page [2] and contact us.

Some basic rules (complete FAQ see [3]):
"Student stipends amount to a total of 4000 Euros. [..]
In order to participate in the program, you must be a student. [..]
[Your university] must be based in a state that is contibuting to the
ESA basic Technology Research Programme, that is including at least all
ESA member states and some other states that have an agreement with ESA."

To everybody: Please help promoting our SOCIS participation and
encourage your students to apply.

Bye
Christoph

People who are more than casually interested in computers should have
at least some idea of what the underlying hardware is like. Otherwise
the programs they write will be pretty weird. -- Donald Knuth
