thanks for offering you help!

I am not aware of any MR for 2.7. If I missed one, please merge it
yourself or assign someone (inlcuding me) to do so.
It would be a shame to miss good backportable changes.

The ration of amount of work to number of feedback was kind of
underwhelming for the last RCs I did.
But that's the reason I asked, so I promise to provide at least one
round of RCs, after we sorted missing the backports out.
