[Dune] Testing the Beta4 Tarballs

Dear Developers!
As the last one on the list I tested some of my elasticity and contact
applications with the beta4 tarballs.  Everything worked fine.
I therefore propose to release now, and, if something catastrophic
happens afterwards, to do a 1.0.1 release soon after.
