Enclosed I added a patch file that patches SGrid in dune-grid-1.1 to be 30% faster with my Finite Volume benchmark example. This shows the portential of implementation improvement that is still possible. And "SGrid is slow because it supports all codimensions" is hereby proven to be wrong, q.e.d.
