I am hesitant, for the well-known reasons: interface changes shortly before branches.  Can we have more opinions, please?

Besides, there are actually a lot more renaming issue pending.  I listed some of them on http://www.dune-project.org/doc/devel/codingstyle.html
Maybe we should do them all in one big effort for a dune 3.0 release.
